How many Euro pallets fit in a 20ft container?

A 20ft container typically takes 10 to 11 Euro pallets in a single tier, and a 40ft container around 23 to 24. Exact numbers depend on whether you can double-stack and on the pallet height.

What is the standard Euro pallet size?

1200 x 800 mm. The ISO standard pallet is 1200 x 1000 mm and the US GMA pallet is 1219 x 1016 mm.

Why should I limit pallet height for LCL?

Because your pallet shares a container with other shippers, and very tall pallets can be difficult to load or may be rejected by the consolidator. Many set a limit around 180 cm.
